PLACES TO VISIT IN  DHARAN, BHEDETAR(NEPAL)

Dharan one of the most beautiful city located in Eastern part of Nepal, Province 1,Sunsari district. This city is famous for it's natural beauty and many relielgious places. There are a lot places to visit and enjoy the beauty of Dharan . Especially Mongolians people like Rai, Limbu,Tamang, Magar etc live over here. This city is also famous for pork meat.

We can see Koshi river from the top of the building, nowadays Dharan is said to the city of blue, due to  the huge numbers of blue clored tin used in roof tops. One of the biggest hospital in South Asia B.P.K.I.H.S is located over here. Bhedetar is also major attraction. This city is surrounded by two major rivers Sharrdu  khola in the west part and Seuti khola in the east. Dharan is  considerd as the second highest rainfalling place in Nepal after Pokhara. This city  along with Bhedetar is a major attraction in Eastern part. 

And obviously there are some exquisite places to visit over here in Dharan while you are in the city like this:

1. Budha Subba

It is the most famous relegious place in Eastern development Region to visit Dharan along with Bhedetar People  from different places come to visit this place and is also quite popular for  it's unique bamboo trees without tops, there are more than thousands of devotee during big events and many animals like goats, hens are sacrificed in the name of God. People usually go for blessing from pundits. Pundits provided tham tika and Prasad. There are also many temple bells to ring here, it is said if we ring the bell than there will be good fortune for us.

There are also some astrologer where people can know their fate and  spend some money on the shops to buy rings, bracelets, bands, neck lace, vest and many more items related to god. The area is not quite big and is located in quite hilly side of Dharan near Bijaypur Dandah. 

2. Dantakali

Dantakali is a temple located in the east side of Budhhasubba mandhir. This place is fomus for the sacrifice of animals like goats, hen, etc. People also visit this place for blessings.

Dozens of animals like goats, hens are   sacrificed in this temple. This temple doesn't cover much area and is very near to Budhhasubhha temple i.e east side from Budhhasubhha. Just like other temples during events thousands of visitors come to this temple. Similarly, shops are available here to buy beautiful local items. This place is major attraction in Dharan. 

3.Pindeshowri

It is well known for its exquisite pond in  Dharan and fare which is held every year with participation of thousands of people. Pindeshwori place is also not very far from Dantakali, it lies just in front of Dantakali Mandhir. It also lies in Bijaypur Dandah.

 There is also place to worship god and get blessings from pundit, we can also provide donations to the poor in this temple.

4. Dharan Clock Tower

It is located in the heart of Dharan . People usually visit this temple for good blessings for their life, especially during moring times. Because of its location dozens of people come here every day. This temple was established because the people did not have to go far to worship god.

People also visit this place to spend time and click photos, as we can see it has also beautful garden with trees, flowers and exquisite statue. During the visit to the temple people can also have the fun to visit places in Dharan, Bhedetar along with Dharan Clock  Towerand enjoy the scenery of Bhanu Chowk.
